Continuous-flow water chillers

The units in the FALLING BLUE and RCS/RCD (Single-Tank Chiller / Double-Tank Chiller) ranges are continuous-flow water chillers.

Their exclusive operating principle is based on circulating mains water through a stainless-steel heat exchanger immersed in an ice-water bath: the circuit is closed, preventing any risk of water contamination.

Using chilled water makes it possible to produce dough at a constant temperature, depending on climatic conditions, ensuring quality and consistent production.

Description

The CFI range of water chillers:

Continuous-flow water chillers are available in 5 models:

  • Single-tank models: Falling Blue and RCS90;
  • Double-tank models: RCD120 and RCD180.

Hourly flow rates:

  • For water from +20°C to +3°C: 60 and 90 L depending on the single-tank models;
  • For water from +20°C to +1°C: 120 and 180 L depending on the double-tank models.

Why choose a water chiller?

  • No booster pump is required; water circulation is ensured by mains pressure.
  • Excellent energy efficiency thanks to a large heat-exchange surface.
  • Low energy consumption.
  • No risk of limescale build-up, as the icy environment prevents limestone deposits.
  • 3/4″ connection (20×27).
  • Can be mounted on an wall bracket or a tall stainless-steel stand (excluding RCD models).
  • The continuous-flow chiller principle eliminates any risk of bacterial contamination due to stagnant water.
  • The water is at the right temperature, without being tainted by stagnant water, to maintain the base temperature.
