WHY CHOOSE CFI?
A guarantee of reliability
- We select our materials with the utmost care to offer high-quality products: high-density panels, control of heat loss…
- We manufacture our polyurethane foam panels injected using a high-pressure machine with a density of 43 kg/m3. Controlling the production of these panels guarantees the best insulation quality, for optimum reduction of heat loss in our equipment.
- Committed to protecting our environment, 97% of our suppliers are European, including 86% in France. Thanks to this proximity, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint.
- All our equipment is produced and assembled in our Lavaveix-les-Mines factory; we therefore control the entire manufacturing process, enabling us to offer custom-made designs.
- Our highly qualified technicians manufacture the injected panels themselves, enabling complete adaptability to our customers’ requirements.
- Thanks to our network of distributors and our spare parts store, we provide a highly responsive service for every request.
All of these actions enable us to produce reliable equipment that stands the test of time.

Mastery of techniques and technologies
We master techniques and technologies that are unique to us for:
- Fermentation
- Preservation
- Medium- and low-temperature refrigeration
- Deep-freezing
In addition, we master various heat recovery techniques via direct expansion or secondary refrigerants of different types (HFC, HFO, glycol water, CO2, propane…).

Discover...
Committed to protecting our environment, we have been engaged in recycling our electrical equipment since 2022.
Every year, thousands of tonnes of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) become unusable. They often contain substances or components that pollute the environment, but they also represent a strong potential for recycling the materials they are made of, such as metals, plastics, or glass.
In France, the Environmental Code (articles R.543-172 and following) has defined since 2005 the rules for managing the WEEE recycling stream, based on the principle of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
To preserve natural resources, there is a real need to produce sustainably and avoid pollution. The solution: recycle. Whether manufacturer, distributor, installer, maintenance provider, or user (…), everyone has a responsibility.
The professional CFI electrical equipment you use as part of your activities becomes Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) when it reaches end of life.
Therefore, any producer placing professional EEE on the market must organise and finance the collection, decontamination, and recycling of its equipment.
Committed to a responsible approach, we have chosen to meet these regulatory obligations by financing a collective recycling scheme, in order to pool resources with other manufacturers, distributors, and importers. We have joined ecosystem, a non-profit eco-organisation approved by the public authorities, to coordinate the collection, decontamination, and recycling of professional WEEE.
By joining Ecosystem, we guarantee you a reliable, high-quality service for the collection and recycling of your electrical equipment.
CFI for Climate programme
Beyond our role as an industrial company and manufacturer, with over 40 years of experience, our CFI brand positions itself as a specialist in refrigeration and fermentation. By mastering numerous techniques and technologies, we provide innovative, high-performing, and comprehensive solutions at your service; solutions that respect your craft while helping you improve profitability.
Our teams are constantly mobilised to respond to changes in the food trades: health, ergonomics, energy consumption.
We do everything possible to offer you high-quality products, with compliance certifications (CE) and in line with regulations on refrigerants (F-Gas).
Aware of the challenges of sustainable development and energy reduction, we are committed to a responsible approach to provide you with solutions oriented in this direction and to support you in your energy transition: this is the CFI For Climate programme.
Environmental protection
Changes in F-Gas regulations and the gradual rollout of taxes in Europe are steering refrigeration installations towards green refrigerants.
That is why we offer you our eco-friendly, reliable, and sustainable refrigeration solutions using natural gas or CO².
CO², not subject to the restrictions of the European F-Gas directive, is largely considered an emission that plays a significant role in global warming. At CFI, thanks to its near-zero environmental impact (GWP = 1), it is now considered a resource for commercial refrigeration.
Our solution
We implement installations that make it possible to connect remote units and racks to the CO² Activ’. This solution can supply combinations of medium- or low-temperature refrigeration equipment for bakeries while maintaining CFI’s recognised energy performance and protecting the environment.
The selected units use compressors with digital modulation and variable speed drives to adjust cooling capacity according to your installation’s demand, thereby achieving substantial energy savings.
Cooling efficiency, environmental protection, and the quality of bakery products are CFI’s commitments.
